NATIONAL LED LIGHTING AND ANTI-SWEAT CONTROLLER UPGRADE

Over the last three years S.J. Electric has been undertaking a major LED lighting and anti-sweat controller upgrade project for one of our national supermarket customers.
With the customer’s goals of safety, reliability and energy savings in mind, the team at S.J. Electric have undertaken a number of initiatives. To increase energy savings in food preparation areas and all back of house
areas, non-LED light fittings were replaced with LED light fittings as well as the fitting of additional integrated microwave motion sensors. Case lighting controls were upgraded in all stores to ensure lights switch off outside of store trading hours. A range of cases, (including deli, fresh produce, meat and dairy) were upgraded with 24V drivers and 24V LED tubes, a safer working voltage. All glass door insert door heater circuits were fitted with Emerson anti-sweat controllers to reduce power consumption.
To date over 900 stores have been completed with minimal disruption to store trading.
