Client: Confidential Location: Eagle Farm, QLD Market: Industrial Capabilities: Electrical and Instrumentation Construction
Scope of Work:
The Eagle Farm pump station is the largest pump station in Brisbane, which pumps approximately 65% of Brisbane’s sewage to the Luggage Point Wastewater Treatment Plant.
This project involved the replacement of the existing GE pump PLCs with new Siemens S7-300 PLCs. Additionally, the site overall Master GE PLC was replaced with two Siemens S7-400 hot standby PLCs. This project was significant in size, due to the need for the control of the ancillary equipment required for the operation of the individual pumps. The control system consisted of 27 remote I/O drops, connected via a new ethernet ring network.
S.J. Electric performed the program version conversion and testing, electrical installation works, SCADA configuration and changes, end user input and workshops and commissioning and testing.
