S.J. Electric was engaged to deliver general light and power and refrigeration electrical services for the fit-out of one of our clients new online DC Hubs. The ‘delivery only’ Hub is housed in a 7,000 sqm warehouse and services more than 5,000 orders each week. The Hub – which is not open to walk-up shoppers, holds a curated range of popular online products and employs more than 400 people.
S.J. Electric supplied and carried out installation of the new site main switchboard and main earth, DB.1, DB.UPS, generator connection, cubicle, cable tray, sub-mains cabling, sub-mains for temporary generator connection cubicle and unfused tee-off box for temporary generator connection.
S.J. Electric supplied and installed all power including outlets and new light fittings throughout the entire warehouse and conducted all testing, labelling and commissioning.
Finally, the team supplied and installed all communication racks, Cat6 data outlets and patch panels as well as 12 core OM4 fibre tie cables.
